BIOGRAPHY Pastor Robert Washington is a native of Mobile, Alabama. He pursued a career in the United States Marine Corps, after his high school experience. During his first enlistment he married Wanda Anne Ray, of Mobile, Alabama. While stationed in Quantico, Virginia he served in the Desert Storm conflict in Iraq. In 1992 he moved his family to Atlanta, Georgia, where they joined Hopewell Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor William L. Sheals, Senior Pastor. In 2001, Pastor Washington founded Grace Center of Hope Ministries on the World Wide Web. With much prayer and in the obedience to God, he launched the ministry to its next level in 2005 by moving into their new church location in Buford, Georgia. He and his lovely wife work together in the vineyard with the mission of offering Christ to the lost and restoration to the hurting. Pastor Washington and his wife reside in Gainesville, Georgia along with their two sons, Robert II and Ryland. With starting a church, his devotion to his wife and children, he is still humble to his calling as preacher of the gospel of Jesus Christ. Pastor Washington has been cited for his service to the community and church including: •Licensed & Ordained as a minister •Member of the Hopewell Ministerial Executive Board, (Parliamentarian) •Served as the Senior Armor Bearer •Served as Youth Coordinator for the Discipleship Ministry •Adult Discipleship Teacher •Spiritual Advisor for the Usher Ministry II & Senior Ushers Ministry •Owner of a small business, Righteous Detail, Inc.
